Adding to its portfolio of HR software, HR Cloud is launching several awesome new apps at SHRM 15, including Directory, Social, Benefits, Assets, Time Off, and Offboard.

Directory, a free app from HR Cloud, gives employees a fun and easy way to store important info about colleagues, discover shared interests, and build relationships. Employees can display their profile picture, contact information, and share who they are. Team members can also use the "employee search" to easily find colleagues in the directory.

“Directory is a perfect addition to the HR Cloud suite of apps. It’s a fun and free way for employees to connect and for companies to increase engagement and build company culture,” said Pamela Kubiak, HR Cloud Product Manager. “Deloitte’s 2015 Global Human Capital Trends report found culture and engagement to be the top issues companies face around the world today. Directory helps businesses address these issues by promoting culture and supporting engagement.”

Directory supports engagement by letting each employee showcase who they are while simultaneously allowing team members to get to know one another as professionals and individuals. The Directory app reinforces company culture by showcasing employees in the employee directory. Directory lets employees share their stories and highlight what makes the company diverse.

Directory also promotes connectivity. Employees can discover shared interests and build relationships, making interactions more personal and supporting collaboration.

Further promoting connectivity and collaboration is HR Cloud’s Social app. Social integrates directly with Directory and aggregates posts from the entire company. With Social employees can write on the company wall, update their status, like, reply, and more.

Benefits, another new HR Cloud app, automates benefit enrollment. The simple online form collects all benefits data which can then be exported and sent to the benefits coordinator.

Assets is asset tracking software that let’s you know exactly who has what assets. Assets stores the details of hardware/software or other items that are being used by a particular employee.

Time Off, another new app, provides a way for employees to submit leave requests directly to their managers. Managers can approve or deny the requests, all while allowing HR to view the list of requests.

Offboard automates the process of terminations while tracking and assigning tasks to the users responsible for completing offboarding tasks.

"The addition of Directory, Social, Benefits, Assets, Time Off, and Offboard help to round out the employee's lifecycle by keeping them engaged from day one through the end of their employment," said Kubiak.

The new apps join HR Cloud’s Core HR and Onboard apps. Core HR provides access to employee information via the cloud and gives users the ability to track and analyze pay and position for an entire workforce. Onboard enables new hires to become more productive from day one by streamlining paperwork processes and training.
